Part of our home school curriculum is reading and memorizing scripture. I really am being blessed by going through Hebrews 11 verse by verse with a different one each week. We’re on Hebrews 11:3, which shows that even Genesis 1 is in Hebrews. What was in the Old Testament is consistently taught in the New Testament. The Bible is internally consistent.

What curriculum are you using? We are homeschooling our kids as well and I thoroughly enjoy the times I get to spend with my boys and how the Bible is taught throughout most of the subjects and they can really see it correlate.
I really use a variety of materials. I have used work books a teacher gave me she retired, and books friends have given me. I bought core knowledge books and use also Five in a Row. I just read the Bible to my children (trying to read through Luke and then will go through Acts) and we are memorizing Hebrews 11 together. My older kids are actually in “virtual schools” (the middle school and high school ones) and the oldest one is in a public school.
