I recall learning about this as a child. I also read “The Dangers of the Rainbow” which talked about this. It’s amazing to see how the world tries to line things up all the time. I wonder if people were thinking it was the end during WW2? The religions weren’t lining up though. Just today I heard more about that meeting with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Crazy, crazy.
During WWII many7 had “spiritualized” the scriptures to make Hitler the anti-christ and America the new Israel. Sadly, most Christian theologians did not believe in a literal fulfillment of Bible prophecy, so they did not see the re-establishment of Israel in the land – which took place May 15, 1948, literally, just as God had foretold!
Consequently, we too can take the Scriptures at face value, knowing that the prophecies yet to be fulfilled, will in fact, be literally fulfilled, just as God has foretold!
We live in exciting times!
What are some more things you have read or learned that are fulfillments? I have heard many different things about the end since childhood (I’ve attended many different denominations due to non-Christian parents…and I found my way to whatever church I could all through childhood). In college I heard a speaker that spoke of the red heifer and the sacrifices, and about the area of Iran/Iraq (Persia) and a one world government/one world religion. What things can you point me to so I can learn more?
